The Carbona PromiseYou have the right to know what's inside the products you purchase. Carbona® is one of the first brands in the U.S. household products industry to clearly print the ingredients on each package.

Why do we want to disclose our ingredients?
We are fully committed to ingredient transparency for all of our products. We provide this information so you can have highest level of confidence when choosing Carbona products for your home.

What is the basis for our ingredient disclosure plan? Bottles
Currently the U.S. government does not require cleaning product manufacturers to disclose ingredients. However, we are firmly committed to letting our consumers know what is in the products we sell. Therefore, until such time as a U.S. regulation is in place, we will rely on European regulations for ingredient disclosure. For detailed information on European standards, visit: "Regulation (EC) No 648/2004 of 31 March 2004 on detergents".

Where will we disclose our ingredients?
Besides a consumer-friendly short list directly on the packaging, we will post a full list of ingredients within the product details page on the website. Click here (PDF) to see an example of the ingredient list of Carbona Stain Devil #1 Glue, Gum & Nail Polish.

How do we describe our ingredients?
On the packaging, we will use mainly common chemical names. In our full website list, we will use INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients), which is standard for cosmetics and other products.
